The Colby Community College volleyball team opened the season on Aug. 22-23 at a round-robin tournament in North Platte, Neb. The Lady Trojans went 1-5 with their only win of the tournament coming against Eastern Wyoming.
The Lady Trojans defeated Eastern Wyoming by scores of 25-12, 25-20, 15-13. The Lady Trojans lost against Northeastern Junior College (20-25, 10-25, 9-15), McCook (20-25, 25-17, 13-15), Southeast CC (22-25, 25-22, 12-15) , Iowa Western (15-25, 27-29, 15-11) and North Platte (21-25, 11-25, 11-15).
The Lady Trojans host McCook on Monday, Aug. 25 at the Community Building. Game time is at 7 p.m.
