The Colby Community College men's basketball team ended their season with a 69-58 loss at home to Seward County. The Trojans finish the season 7-23 overall and 3-13 in the conference. Everson Lacerda finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds and finished the season with three consecutive double-doubles. Sophomore Andrew Engel, in his final game with the Trojans, finished with 13 points.
The Trojans were offically eliminated from the post-season tournament with Pratt's victory on Saturday, but still battled Seward to the end. The Trojans final record of 7-23 is very deceptive, considering they have battled through injuries and suspensions all season. They also lost two games in overtime and had players improve dramatically throughout the season.
