The CCC women’s golf team competed in their first conference tournament Sept. 14 & 15. The tournament was hosted by CCC and was held in Atwood, KS.
The Lady Trojans placed 3rd as a team and came away with two individual medalists, Freshman, Eva DeLuca (Yuma, CO) placed 4th, with a 27-hole total of 132, and Soph., Abby Laverenz (Burlington, CO) placed 5th, with a 27-hole total of 137.
Overall the ladies performed very well for their first tournament. There is no doubt that we have the ability to compete within our conference. The ladies showed a lot of potential, and each lady was able to improve their scores from Sunday to Monday.
