The Colby Community College Lady Trojans lost 79-49 Saturday at No. 21-ranked Cloud County. The Lady Trojans trailed by six at halftime, but Cloud opened up the game, out-scoring the Lady Trojans 47-23 in the second half.
The Lady Trojans struggled offensivley, shooting 33 percent from the field, and made just 4-of-20 from three point range. CCC also committed 24 turnovers.
Erin Goodhue came off the bench to lead the Lady Trojans with 11 points. Goodhue was 4-of-6 from the field, and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. Sandra Sormaz had 9 points and attempted only six shots from the field. Whitney Archer had 8 points, Samantha Ciani had 7 points and 6 rebounds, and Lauren Fortin led the Lady Trojans with 7 rebounds.
