Trojan baseball struggles against another tough Texas team

The Colby Community College Trojan baseball team's four-game Texas roadtrip ended with a doubleheader loss to Odessa Community College on Sunday. The Trojans lost by the scores of 7-3 and 12-6. Josh Edwards picked up the loss in game one, allowing 4 runs (2 earned) in 3 innings of work. Trojan catcher Eric Sim was 1-for-3 with 2 RBI for the Trojans.

Steve Blankenship couldn't end the roadtrip with a win in game two of the doubleheader, allowing five runs in 2 1/3 innings of work. Garrett Stone was 1-for-2 with a double and 3 RBI for the Trojans.

The Trojans begin conference play with a four game set on March 1-2 at Pratt Community College.
